About This Opportunity

The Associate Director, Business Development (Prepaid Cards) will report to the Director of Business Development. This position’s key focus will be to grow and maintain the prepaid card business for Roblox across key distribution and retail partners while driving and maximizing account productivity. The Associate Director should be extremely detail orientated and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the prepaid card industry, as well as, reporting, and analysis. This person will help lead the Roblox prepaid card business development team to support the global prepaid card business with the goal of growing sales and profitability with a special focus on operational, marketing and promotional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Director of Business Development to maintain and grow key partnerships with prepaid card partners and retailers
  • Drive global sales and revenue objectives for respective partner(s)
  • Review and monitor specific account activity, and work with the account to resolve any major obstacles, and improve sales performance
  • By partner, take lead for sales tracking, reviews, issue management, and strategy collaboration
  • Maintain an overall view of our partner and retailer global programs understanding their current core business and goals, new product launches and enhancements and product offerings
  • Manage products across different delivery channels – including online and retail
  • Be the key communicator and point of contact for multiple internal and external teams
  • Manage account objectives with the support of the internal prepaid card team
  • Consult on project strategy based on industry and company knowledge
  • Analyze and adapt new strategies to react to changing business trends and legal requirements
  • Develop and preserve a strong business relationship with direct prepaid card partners and key retailers
  • Organize and participate in regular meetings acting as a consultant between external and internal contacts
  • Work with the internal Prepaid Card Program manager to manage regular support, troubleshooting and resolution for store level, billing and Customer Service Issues

Qualifications

  • BA/BS and 7+ years account management experience in the prepaid card industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
  • Extreme attention to detail with excellent project management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Strong time management skills
  • Great presentation skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to determine the best path forward in an environment where multiple solutions are possible
  • Ability to think strategically, but also willing to dig in and roll up sleeves with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience managing a business development team
