About the role:

This position's focus will be to grow the prepaid card business for Roblox across key distribution and retail partners. The Associate Director will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the global prepaid card industry, and reporting and analysis. You will help lead the Roblox prepaid card business development team with the goal of growing global sales and profitability focused on operational, marketing and promotional initiatives.

This may be a Senior Manager II, Associate Director, or Director role, depending on experience and report into the Director of Business Development. The role is full-time and located at our headquarters in San Mateo, California.

You will:

  • Work with Director of Business Development to maintain and expand key partnerships with prepaid card partners and retailers

  • Manage a small team of Account Managers

  • Drive global sales and revenue objectives for respective partner(s)

  • Review and monitor specific account activity, and work with the account to resolve any major obstacles, and improve sales performance

  • Take lead for sales tracking, reviews, issue management, and strategy collaboration on a partner-by-partner basis

  • Maintain an overall view of our partner and retailer global programs understanding their current core business and goals, new product launches, enhancements, and product offerings

  • Manage products across different delivery channels – including retail, online and B2B

  • Be the point of contact for multiple internal and external teams

  • Manage account objectives with the support of the internal prepaid card team

  • Consult on project strategy based on industry and company knowledge

  • Analyze and adapt new strategies to react to changing business trends and legal requirements

  • Develop and preserve a strong business relationship with direct prepaid card partners and key retailers

  • Organize and participate in regular meetings acting as a consultant between external and internal contacts

  • Work with the internal Prepaid Card Program team members to manage regular support, troubleshooting and resolution for store level, billing and customer service issues

You have:

  • A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in business or related field

  • 7+ years of account management experience in business development (includes 5+ years in the prepaid card industry)

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Experience managing projects

  • Experience with internal external presentations

  • Experience managing direct reports on a business development team

You are:

  • Flexible and customer service orientated

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deliverables concurrently

  • A creative thinker and have problem-solving skills to determine the best path forward in an environment where multiple solutions are possible

  • Able to think strategically, but also willing to dig in and roll up sleeves with a can-do attitude

  • Able to work independently and in a team environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$216,390—$284,460 USD
