Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Relicans are currently working remotely. We take the health and safety of our community, our staff, and their families seriously and are following local government guidelines. Relic provides each new hire with a Work From Home Allowance to upgrade your home office setup, so you can work effectively and comfortably. We are committed to transitioning to a work model where Relicans partner with their manager and team to create a hybrid or remote schedule, allowing you flexibility to do what you love.

Relic Entertainment is a wholly owned studio of SEGA. We are an award-winning developer of genre-defining games like Homeworld, Dawn of War, Company of Heroes, and Age of Empires. We have delivered rich, thoughtful strategy games throughout our history and our vision is to continue making games that people love to play.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Community Manager to join our team to support the Company of Heroes franchise! As a Senior Community Manager, you will lead a team of community managers to help grow existing or create new community programs and be a champion for our players. We deeply believe in building games with our community by involving them at every step in the process – from concept to pre-Alpha to launch and beyond. We work hard to provide a safe, fun, and inclusive space for our players to help one another, play together, and engage with our developers. Come help us build the best Strategy community for Relic games!

As a Senior Community Manager, you will…

  • Lead the Community Team to plan, execute, and continually evolve a long-term franchise strategy and content calendar for community growth and engagement
  • Establish objectives and KPIs for our Community programs
  • Listen, monitor, and engage with our community across channels to continually learn, refine, and optimize content to grow social followings within popular and emerging digital media platforms
  • Collect player feedback and translate it internally into prioritized insights and actionable feedback through process, presentations, and reports, and by recommending priority values to dev team tasks
  • Author or review outgoing community content, including copy-writing and creative content plans
  • Represent Relic both internally and externally at events, on camera, and in channels as needed

You’re a good fit if you have…

  • Experience working with live service communities – ensuring that engagement is positive and healthy and that diverse points of view are respected while upholding the code of conduct, dealing with tough community members, and diffusing complex and heated situations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with all stakeholders, from our players to internal developers and studio leaders
  • A passion for being data informed; able to leverage data to make informed decisions as well as contribute to data best practices across the team
  • Proficiency with social listening and scheduling tools and an appetite for learning new platforms in support of Community programs
  • Experience leading a community or social team
  • A desire to learn and grow with us

It’s a bonus if you have…

  • Experience with content creation, such as videos, photos, articles, livestreams, podcasts, etc.
  • AAA games or RTS studio experience, or knowledge of the software development process
  • A love for games, or an interest in learning about what we do!
