Job Responsibilities :
Implement security detection and monitoring processes and use cases with the MSSP
Respond to security alerts and incidents
Partner with internal and external stakeholders in the containment of and response to breaches, including threat hunting
Work with internal and external stakeholders on the remediation of security vulnerabilities as part of the vulnerability scanning and penetration testing effort
Conduct vulnerability scanning across multiple platforms and architectures
Follow through on all remediation to ensure closure with SLA
Assist in the implementation of InfoSec initiatives
Develop automations to further improve the efficiency of security operations
Perform any other tasks assigned by line manager
Pre-Requisites :
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or related field
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in the information security operations domain
Familiar with security tools (e.g., EDR, Privileged Access Management, CASB)
Good knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud platform, Active Directory and Linux
Possess at least CISSP or equivalent information security certifications
Ability to develop solutions and use tools to help discover and mitigate security vulnerabilities
Experience in one or more scripting languages, e.g., Python, Java
Good verbal/written communications skills
Positive mindset, open-minded and adaptable for a change fast-paced environment
A strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail
Good to have:
DevSecOps (CI/CD) knowledge
Experience in an end-user environment
