Proletariat is seeking candidates for a new and exciting System Administratior role to join our People Operations team! The person in this role will be an individual contributor who will support, maintain, and develop the infrastructure and development of core softwares and services for the entire company. Will participate in the configuration, deploying, and maintenance of hardware and software as Proletariat continues to grow and scale. Additionally, the individual in this role will act as the main point of contact that is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and responding to incidents for all related internal tools.

Responsibilities:

Perforce

  • Manage and maintain daily Perforce Operations and servers to uphold a high level of service
  • Implement and update processes that align with accepted industry best practices to ensure tickets are handled quickly and efficiently

AWS/Cloud

  • Assume primary role as managing access and roles for AWS/Azure Active Directory
  • S3 and additional AWS instance types

Identity Management Systems (IDMS)

  • Maintain the company wide IDMS so all employees have constant access to information without any drop in service
  • Develop appropriate processes and procedures when implementing a company wide IDMS
  • Manage and maintain our IDMS for both onboarding and offboarding

SSO Integrations

  • Ability to identify new and innovative ways to remove blockers and obstacles from our team and collaborators

G Suite

  • Manage and establish appropriate security practices within GSuite
  • Leverage knowledge of GSuite and Google Enabled Tools to ensure best security practices are adhered to

Network Infrastructure

  • Collaborate with IT Manager and stakeholders to oversee Proletariat’s Network Topography
  • Some experience with network engineering is preferred
  • Experience with VPN(s) across multiple VLAN and Networks

Maintenance and Support

  • FTP/Servers
  • Virtual Machine
  • Jenkins/Docker
  • Be a team player, collaborating on helpdesk issues as they arise

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in an IT role preferred
  • 2 years of professional experience in a role with transferable skills required
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field with some relevant experience also considered
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems is required
  • Experience scaling in a fast growing startup preferred
  • Experience with command line tools/languages (Bash, Shell, etc.)
  • Previous experience managing IDMS (Active Directory, LDAP, or related)
  • Previous experience managing and integrating apps leveraging SSO and its related APIs (Okta, Onelogin, or Google)
  • Previous experience managing access groups and rules for Cloud Based Tools (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
  • Exposure to working cross-functionally with DevOps and Developers Preferred
  • Familiarity with Docker/Jenkins is a plus, but not required
  • Automating monitoring and maintenance of servers (i.e. perforce, file servers, idrac)
  • Manually optimizing resources
  • Familiarity with with Network Topography is preferred
