THE ROLE

Do you love playing FPS shooter games? As a Video Game Capture Runner, you will be an integral part of our content creation team, responsible for creating high-quality gameplay footage for gameplay trailers and other related assets, and assisting in the production of gaming-related videos. You will work closely with our Capture Director / Creative Director and the Game Capture Artist to ensure that we consistently deliver captivating and visually appealing content to our audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Play assigned video games to capture gameplay footage using specified recording equipment and software.
Work with a team of other Runners and Game Capture Artists to create and execute choreography of gaming scenarios that best convey the objectives.
Follow predefined capture guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in footage.
Collaborate with Video Editors to transfer and organize captured footage for post-production.
Assist in setting up and testing equipment for live streams and video shoots.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to gameplay capture and equipment operation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest video game releases, trends, and technologies in gaming capture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Passion for video games and a deep understanding of gaming culture.
Proficiency in playing a wide range of video game genres across various platforms (PC and Console).
Basic knowledge of video capture equipment and software (e.g., OBS Studio, Elgato Game Capture).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions and guidelines.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines.
Prior experience in video game capture or content creation (preferred).
Must have a gaming PC

Please note this is a contract/contingency position for a minimum of 12 months.
