Role Overview

As Media Agency Management Lead you will have an important role within Sony Interactive Entertainment global Marketing Department, responsible for leading the management of the global media Agency of Record relationship to ensure that SIE maximises agency fee ROI, incentivises highest quality service through on-going agency performance evaluation and monitors the agency’s compliance with commercial & contractual obligations.

This role will support the SIE Director, Global Media Strategy & Agency Management, and work closely with SIE global Media Planning, Finance, Legal, Audit & local Territory marketing teams, the Agency of Record’s Global Account, Commercial & Finance Teams, and external audit partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support Director, Global Media Strategy & Agency Management in managing global Media Agency of Record relationship to ensure SIE maximise benefit from the engagement globally & locally
  • Partner with SIE Legal to ensure that requisite legal & commercial documentation (MSA, SOWs, DPAs, NDAs) is in place & updated to reflect changing scope of Media Agency relationship
  • Ensure that responsibilities & deliverables detailed in the annual global, regional and local Scopes of work are delivered in full by the Agency
  • Develop & review global, regional and local Agency staffing plans to ensure that agency costs are within budget and that resource is optimally deployed & sufficient to deliver on SOWs; manage process of local fee request evaluation & evaluate quarterly Agency hours tracking against FTEs
  • Ensure that SIE & agency is maximising operational efficiencies, following briefing best practices & adhering to Ways of Working in conjunction with PMO.
  • Manage FY Global Agency Fee Cost Centre/Budget including all corresponding Billing, Purchase Orders, invoices, bonus metrics, SIE forecasting and accruals with Director, to ensure that the Agency is paid in a timely fashion with no over-spend; reconcile fees generated by biddable commission rates on a monthly basis.
  • Manage of annual media buying & financial compliance audits in conjunction with SIE Audit team and 3rd party auditors
  • Lead 360 Service Evaluations - annual deepdive & quarterly check-ins into SIE satisfaction with global, regional and local agency teams in relation to scope delivery & performance; create & enforce action plans. Responsible for issue resolution, escalating as appropriate
  • Calculate annual agency PRF bonuses based on a range of KPIs
  • Manage AVBs, rebates & unbilled process with Agency & SIE Finance to ensure that owed monies are returned to SIE
  • Responsible for agency issue resolution, escalating as appropriate
  • Manage logistics & evaluation of future media agency pitches
  • Work closely with SIE Territories not working with global AOR to ensure consistency and visibility
  • Managing agency resource, workload & deliverables prioritisation, escalating as appropriate
  • On board new markets who begin working with global AOR
  • Point of Contact for agency deployments regarding SIE policy business changes or updates

Essential Requirements
