Description

We’re looking for a 2D artist to support our hit mobile game, Choices: Stories You Play. The ideal candidate will be productive and flexible accomplishing a range of tasks for our fast-paced, team-collaborative studio. This is a full-time position that will eventually be on-site in Mountain View, CA once our office reopens post-COVID-19 restrictions.

Responsibilities

Choices’ interactive novel genres include romance, action, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and mystery. Art style can potentially be in illustrated realism, cartoon, anime, etc. You would be assisting the art leads in the rendering and post-rendering process to complete character art, with flexibility to switch between rendering styles. Occasionally produce props, background sketch, cinematic or promotional concept art. Able to follow art directions, adaptive to processes and disciplined to yield productivity and quality.

Requirements

Proficient in Photoshop as a painter and an image manipulator on characters and backgrounds.
Competent in multiple art styles such as illustrated realism, anime, cartoon, etc.
Able to create natural poses with expertise in human anatomy.
Knowledgeable in fashion. Able to properly render stylish, attractive outfits on various postures.
An enthusiastic and flexible team player who is apt to help and is willing to learn and improve.
Able to be productive, multi-task, and meet strict deadlines.
Good communication skills are a must.
Highly organized and adaptive to various processes.

Positives

Proficient in Illustrator to create vector art assets with an understanding of graphic design principles.
General experience on 3D, as well as animation principles.
