We're very excited to be able to welcome new interns this coming semester! Are you passionate about esports? We are looking for students who see themselves as ready to learn and grow personally, but who are also ready to contribute to our company. If you're ready to jump-start your career in online community engagement then you should apply.
As our Photography Intern, you would be responsible for documenting our team and company throughout our seasonal events. You will be on call during the entire duration of the event and will be ready to spring into action depending on what our team is up to. We need someone who can also review, edit, and select key photographs during the day and forward them to our Social Media team during each event.
This position may require some travel.
Essential Job Functions:You would be working with the rest of Paragonyx studio (our in-house studio partner) to create images which support and communicate our brand and our mission, and also take pictures of us whenever we're goofing off while waiting for the next match to start.
We want someone who can actively seek out situations during events to find opportunities for cool shots. We want pictures that make our fanbase go crazy with their share buttons, so this requires an expertise in matters of timing, composition, and style. You should always be seeking out opportunities to document players interacting with branded products from our sponsors.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys traveling. We'll be competing in arenas all around the world, and your work may encompass documenting our players on-route to competitions.
We need someone who values courtesy and professionalism, and while you may only be part-time we expect that you will act with kindness and respect while representing our team and our brand. This includes taking precautions to obey necessary boundaries and play nice with others at events.
Like all of our media crew, we count on our photographer to keep their files organized and make sure to stick to deadlines.
Qualifications:
- If you're an event-focused shutterbug with at least 2+ years experience, who also loves esports, this is the gig for you!
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- You should be up to date on esports image trends, but not afraid to try new things
- A valid Passport and driver's license
- An Adobe Creative Suite Magician
- Pursuing a degree in digital photography or other related fields
- Experience as an event photographer for esports or traditional sports events is a plus
- Must be Local - This is not a remote position
