This internship can be performed remotely.

Status: Unpaid Internship/Temporary, 15 hrs+/week (flexible)

Time Frame: 5 months 1/15-5/15

Description:

We’re looking for motivated interns with video production experience to have the opportunity to learn how to develop and create content for a variety of esports & broadcast platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Intern must be pursuing or has pursued a degree in Digital Media, Film, Television Production, Communications, or a closely related field.
  • Some experience in studio production, lighting, green screen production, and ENG production is a plus.

Desired but not required qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Studio 7 and or Avid Media Composer.
  • Knowledge of basic lighting techniques
  • Experience in shooting with HD professional cameras
  • Experience with recording audio in studio and on location
  • Ability to express creativity and creative ideas to others in addition to multitasking and prioritizing as necessary.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing environments.
  • Attention to detail as well as ability to learn new ideas and concepts plus the ability learn on the fly.

Duties during esports events include:

  • Opportunity to gain experience with how video staff work with esports players, coaches and management.

Internship offers the chance to:

  • Gain experience & knowledge of how filming live esports events is done
  • Learn how to develop, create and produce a variety of packages
  • Learn how to log, cut, and organize esports highlights
  • Acquire the ability of how to create 2D/3D GFX & Animations.

** If selected for an interview a demo reel or portfolio of your own work will be required

The Pittsburgh Knights will provide all necessary equipment, but you are should be familiar and comfortable using traditional equipment such as dollies, tripods, etc.
