PC Invasion is looking for dedicated, knowledgeable news writers for all things PC gaming. With experience, passion, and an inoffensive sense of humor, we write about what’s happening in the PC gaming world.

Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to write at least two news stories per day at a minimum of 300 words each. All news ideas are gathered via email, Twitter, fellow writers, and company Slack, so you shouldn’t be without work. Of course, we also expect you to be proactive in looking for news.

This position is for hardware and gaming news. We're looking to fill positions with someone who is confident in their knowledge of PC hardware, and knows the difference between MHz and MT/s. When hardware news isn't available, you will be free to write PC gaming news.

What we’re looking for in a news writer:

A strong grasp of the English language
Dedication to a schedule
Knowledge of PC gaming and hardware
Strong work ethic
Open with communication
Video editing experience a plus

What we need from you:

Work samples
- Can be anything from news to reviews. We just want to get a good idea of your ability
Name, age, location, and availability (we start at around 9 AM EDT)

Please note that applications that don’t include work samples will be turned down. Don’t simply provide a link to your portfolio. Choose your best work to show us. Sell yourself!

We are currently filling roles for daytime writers, both in the morning and afternoon Eastern Time. If you feel you qualify given the above requirements, send an email our way. After some brief interview questions, we will walk you through a moderately painless onboarding process if your application gets the green light.

In addition, you may be able to eventually review/preview games once you’ve become established.

Payment is done per article via wordcount. PC Invasion also offers a bonus based on article frequency -- he more you post, the more you earn!
