Panda is a championship caliber esports brand that has become the pillar for grassroots esports communities. With a heavy influence in solo player genres, Panda stands alone within the industry. Using content creators, pro gaming teams, groundbreaking technology, websites, and community outreach programs, Panda has strategically positioned itself as a one-stop shop that is able to integrate brands at a deeper level than any other esports organization.

We are looking for a qualified and self-motivated individual to join our sales team as a Sales Manager. The sales team at Panda is responsible for structuring and executing partnerships with organizations large and small alike that wish to wield Panda’s unique offerings in the esports and casual gaming markets. The Sales Manager position will report directly to the Director of Sales and Chief Financial Officer.

What this position entails:

  • Help the Director of Sales with the sales process of the organization, from initial talks to signing agreements
  • Assist in the development of the brand partnership narrative incorporating Panda’s unique selling points and assets to help secure new brand partnerships
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales in expanding a broad base of direct client and agency relationships across multiple categories and industries
  • Develop customized sales materials, proposals and presentations based on the objectives of companies being pitched
  • Manage brand relationships and partnership activations

What sort of background is necessary:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media and partnership sales
  • Experience working with and growing social media for large brands
  • A background knowledge of gaming and gaming communities, even beyond the scope of Panda’s offerings, is important
  • A deep understanding of digital media (Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and content partnerships.
  • Proven ability to create professional sales materials and presentations.

  • Collaborative: As part of a multifaceted organization, the Sales Manager will work frequently along with the Director of Sales, Head of Content, Player Manager, Social Media Managers, and more to ensure prospective partners that their goals and KPIs are met.
  • Communicative: The Sales Manager will be working with the Director of Sales closely and must be able to communicate everything from starting an activation and success reporting at the end of a promotion.
  • A fan: The Sales Manager must be able to speak to not only Panda’s presence within esports, but the esports scenes it serves at large. Whether that knowledge base already exists or can develop, the Sales Manager must be in-the-know.
