NVIDIA GeForce NOW is our cloud-based offering that seeks to enable users worldwide to get instant access to their game libraries, play the latest games in high-definition at efficient settings and smooth frame rates streamed right to their desktop, browsers and mobile devices.

Within GeForce NOW, The Platform Foundation team has the charter to build and sustain highly performant and robust server platforms and software that run in the cloud and power the core technologies behind GeForce NOW.

As we advance our streaming and virtualization technologies, there is an increased need to understand, improve and scale our system software to extract maximum performance, stability and resource utilization.

Further, as cloud and data center system complexities evolve, so does system engineering. There is now a greater need for being able to build solid system software and be able to do analysis on system components and their interactions from large amounts of data coming in from various sources.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are now looking for a versatile system engineer who will help us bridge the gap between software and hardware, influencing improvements in game and core system interactions. You'll bring your expertise in software optimization and full-stack performance analysis to tackle complex system problems.

The breadth of your work will involve working closely with specialists from various NVIDIA domains, writing/adopting software to ensure regressions don’t creep into our sophisticated system software pipeline. You will also help us with top class tools that do quantitative analysis and convert patterns emerging from automated benchmarking and cloud telemetry infrastructures, into meaningful system engineering opportunities.

Being at the crossroads of product and systems Engineering, there will be opportunities to watch some of the smartest engineers across NVIDIA use your insights based on hardware and software characterizations to improve system performance & stability and help redefine the way we carve and sustain world class cloud platforms.
