SUMMARY: Drives and oversees influencer marketing operations for planned and ad-hoc marketing activations. Responsible for developing and overseeing the Influencer Marketing strategy for Nintendo of America (NOA) to generate awareness and interest in Nintendo products and services.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Has day-to-day oversight for NOA’s Influencer Marketing program. Plans, drives, and executes strategic planning for engaging with content creators to bring Nintendo products and initiatives to life while managing and executing tactics and providing direction to other team members.
Manages, implements, and/or oversees key activities related to product launches and other influencer marketing activities, working independently and with other Marketing and Communications teams.
Guides team to ensure all initiatives are aligned with Nintendo’s strategic priorities.
Manages external partners and agencies involved in executing short and long-term campaigns.
Prepares overarching short and long-term goals for all Influencer Marketing programs.
Manages content, optimization, reporting/analytics (including defining and tracking ongoing quantitative and qualitative results), relationships, content development, and updates to Influencer Marketing programs.
Prepares reports and presentations on the latest influencer marketing activities and opportunities for a wide range of stakeholders to include senior leaders, executive management team, and global headquarters.
Prepares quarterly trend reports summarizing key changes in the spaces of content creators and content creation, highlighting any adjustments or recommendations to our approach.
Regularly communicates with global headquarters and subsidiaries for program execution, meetings, and to share best practices.
Develops and manages team members within the Influencer Marketing team through mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
As designated, may represent Nintendo as an official corporate spokesperson in an on-camera or in-person capacity; successful completion of training required.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of eight (8) years related experience in public relations, social media, or marketing.
Knowledge of strategic social media and influencer marketing practices.
Experience developing and executing influencer marketing programs.
Project management skills with demonstrated success in application and understanding of project management methodology, including ability to identify and resolve issues, create and track milestones, and manage risk.
Experience managing budgets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Experience managing direct reports required.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Video game industry experience a plus.
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, a related field, or equivalent preferred.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $137,000 - $246,500 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
