Recognised in our sector by an extensive, reputable history and broad product range, Nintendo Australia currently has a vacancy for a HR Advisor to join the team on an 11-month fixed term parental leave cover contract and commencing in November.
Reporting into the HR Manager, this role is responsible for working alongside the HR team to provide support across a variety of employment lifecycle activities, including recruitment, training, reporting, and payroll.

Key requirements for the role include:
End to end recruitment of permanent and temporary agency placements, as well as preparing and issuing Employment Agreements and related documentation.
Cyclical weekly, monthly, and annual reporting, and annual budget preparation.
Coordinating training requirements annually and ad hoc, as well as organising booking.
Preparation of payroll reporting and adjustments and assisting in payroll processing where required.
Providing advice to staff on HR policies and procedures, Award interpretation, and employee matters.
Liaising with the HR Team and other departments to support the internal on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
Supporting the bi-annual performance review process.
Coordinate the review process for new employees for their 1, 3, 5 months and probation period are on time and complete.
Supporting the HR Manager with ER/IR matters where required.
Coordinating with the Work Experience program.
Reviewing NAL HR policies and procedures.
Undertaking project work and various administration duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
To succeed in the role, you will require:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Generalist HR / Advisory role or related.
Previous experience with preparing payroll.
Knowledge of the Modern Awards and Australian Employment Legislation.
Respect for confidentiality and discreetness in a HR role.
Flexible and motivated approach to a busy hands-on role.
