Location: Work from home (UK only) or from our brand-new studio in Cambridge, UK.

Your Role: Design and build playable scenarios, levels and experiences from the ground up that take players on an unforgettable journey.

Your Skill: This is a fully hands-on role using Unreal Engine. You will take ideas, concepts, research, and story beats and proactively build compelling and ambitious gameplay prototypes. You will develop the strongest ones alongside art, audio and code into proof of concept experience slices. You will coordinate with a cross-discipline team to craft these into fully polished playable experiences that are original, robust and world-class.

Requirements

Your Experience: You are passionate about the player experience and have played a hand-on role in designing levels and playable content on acclaimed high-end character-action games. You may have several games under your belt as Senior or Lead Level Designer, Game or Creative Director. You may also be a less experienced but highly creative designer with ambitious ideas and the ability to prototype them. You are demonstrably an expert in Unreal Engine (or similar), have competent scripting skills and good experience in other art, design and layout tools. Complementary experience as Film Director, Animation Director, Author or similar desirable.
