ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Contract Recruiter is someone who is great at networking and identifying top talent through active conversations. This person is not afraid to cold source top talent and knows what questions to ask to find the right match. Other responsibilities include:

Manage full cycle recruitment process; including but not limited to:

  • Working with hiring managers to get an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of open requisitions
  • Actively sourcing candidates
  • Reviewing resume submissions
  • Conducting phone screens
  • Vetting candidates against job description and needs of the org/hiring manager
  • Vetting salary to ensure we are efficient
  • Scheduling interviews and ensuring the correct parties are aware of their responsibilities
  • Gathering feedback on candidates
  • Keeping stakeholders up to date on status of each open requisition
  • Working with the HR Director and leadership to extend offers in a timely manner
  • Gathering and documenting market data through conversations with candidates
  • Closing candidates
  • Conducting background checks and reference checks

Provide the HR Specialist support on the onboarding process; including but not limited to:

  • Sending out the first day email to ensure the new hire knows what to bring and expect on their first day
  • Scheduling the new hire’s first day
  • Ensuring that the new hire announcement is sent out by hiring manager
  • Promote a culture to attract and retain top talent
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee files
  • Other HR duties as assigned

YOUR BONA FIDES

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Recruiting and/or Human Resources; preferably start up experience
  • Experience in a working at a recruiting firm/in-house recruiting with high volume open positions
  • Knowledge of Broadcast Production, Esports and/or gaming industry is preferred

OTHER

Amount of Travel Required: Limited to none

Work Environment: Typical office, travel (trains, planes and autos), studios and on-location environments
