What the Lead AI Developer will do at Motive:

  • Implement and lead the development of complex AI systems as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with the designers on the vision of the games AI behaviours and systems
  • Work with partner teams to co-develop and adopt new AI technology
  • Participate in higher-level planning with project management and Technical Directors.
  • Work with QV to ensure the AI systems stability and accuracy by identifying, communicating, and resolving issues
  • Lead and participate in code reviews
  • Work with team members on career development, mentorship, and provide regular feedback
  • Help recruit new team members

Who You Are:

  • BS. (or higher) degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Familiarity with advanced game engines like Unreal, Unity and others
  • 8+ years of professional C/C++ experience
  • Familiarity with advanced game engines like Unreal, Unity and others
  • Experience shipping at least one AAA title with a significant AI contribution
  • Experience working on modern console platforms and PC with at least one shipped title
  • Experience leading and managing other programmers
  • Passion for making games look and play great
