How do you fancy joining a 250+ person team, working on a range of cross platform titles? From smash hit AAA games to hugely popular mobile titles, there's lots for you to get stuck into!

You'll be based in the heart of the UK's capital city; a stones throw from Big Ben, Westminster, The Shard, and all of the other iconic London landmarks. Right now, the team are working completely remotely, but long term, you will be expected to be able to join them on-site for two days per week.

You will be working on a mobile game that already has a huge following, helping to create all sorts of new content. As their new Senior UI Artist, you will use your expertise in UI/UX principles and software to deliver high-quality original artwork that displays innovative solutions to requested briefs. You will be able to take high-level creative direction and estimate, schedule, and execute relevant level-of-detail artwork. You will mentor junior artists and work collaboratively across the team, ensuring the best possible ideas are professionally presented and realised in-game.

Your day-to-day will involve the following tasks:

  • Produce quality artwork needed to visualise a game user interface
  • Ensure your work is accurate and technically sound to allow the team to correctly transition it in-game
  • Adapt styles, as necessary, during the exploratory stages of pre-production or as you move projects
  • Investigate style options that help the leads and directors realise their vision
  • Create and quality check in-game assets and entire menus to ensure they match visual and technical briefs
  • Track your time, report your progress, and flag any risks and issues daily (or at the point of identification, if required)

The skills and XP you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience creating engaging and aesthetically pleasing 2D UI for video games
  • A portfolio of your previous work in video games
  • An understanding of platform requirements for mobile games

This role will need to be worked part remote once Mediatonic return to their studio. You'll be expected to work two days on-site per week and three days from home.
