Job Description

We are looking for a Live Producer to join us for Ubisoft Connect to help us continuously enhancing our platform for our players’ optimal live experience.

The Live Producer is a visionary, by benchmarking leading industry standards on release management you will enable Ubisoft Connect to reach a higher level of capacity. As a visionary you will also work towards bringing transversal operation into a new level of DevOps.

You will develop the Live vision as well as the operational strategy to maximize engagement & retention in Ubisoft Connect channels, focusing first on the PC launcher. As part of the core management team, the Live Producer will define recommendations and tactical orientations for the implementation of the Live strategy of such channels. You will work to improve the player’s online experience, so it becomes smooth and user friendly, supporting the development of features and services, while ensuring their technical feasibility.

The Live Producer will coordinate the live efforts and consolidate player feedback (Operations, Analytics, Community and Customer Support). The Live Producer plans and executes the operation of the test phases, the launch and beyond.

What you’ll do

  • Live phase production milestones management. Oversee and ensure production is ready for each phase leading up to launch, by implementation of efficient tools and processes
  • Create alpha and beta goals, strategies, responsibilities, and deadlines clearly defined and assigned to everyone involved, to ensure the work proceeds in a systematic way.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and partners, such as the Frontline, Online Services and QC/QA, on the status and upcoming release
  • Ensuring your team follows up on issues reported by frontline, and provides information and updates to frontline teams on ongoing issues
  • Live operation orchestration
  • Be a stakeholder for DevOps to ensure our CICD processes are fit-for-purpose

Qualifications

Besides the above we are looking for someone aligned with the following skills and experience:

  • A degree in management, administration or equivalent relevant experience
  • Solid experience of team & project management
  • Previous work as Release Manager, Live Producer or similar with experience of launching a game or software product.
  • Experience working strategically in a live organization
