Manticore Games is the developer of Core, a platform and community that is redefining how virtual worlds and games are created, published, and played. Core’s mission is to empower and discover a whole new generation of creators.

We are looking for a resourceful and experienced marketing leader to drive player acquisition for Core. You will develop the plans, oversee the campaigns, and take part in the execution of all activities to bring new players to the platform and re-acquire lapsed players. As part of this you will develop targeting, positioning, messaging, and creative, manage promotions and events. You will also oversee the development and management of paid UA programs across all channels. You will take an active part in all branding, market research, PR, social and influencer marketing activities. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute player acquisition and reengagement marketing plans and activities
  • Develop Core’s paid UA strategy across all channels and oversee its ongoing optimization
  • Oversee consumer events, influencer marketing, and social media marketing
  • Create new marketing content (videos, blogs, etc.) to support acquisition activities
  • Propose and manage the player acquisition budget
  • Lead consistent communications for the player marketing team’s plans and key beats throughout the year, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders
  • Measure the effectiveness of brand, influencers and consumer marketing initiatives and develop insights to optimize campaigns, make recommendations, and track against key KPIs
  • Create and direct market, competitive, and user research
  • Work closely with Developer Relations, Product Management, PR, Community Management, and Finance teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of game marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility including campaign management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing media campaigns and performance marketing
  • Operational knowledge of social media and influencer marketing
  • Experience managing both internal team members and external vendors for timely, high quality marketing assets
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing customer data to craft messaging
  • Experience in developing the creation of high-quality marketing materials (trailers, websites, etc), including managing team members and vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, communications, a related field, or equivalent experience
