Position at Logitech

The Role:

We are looking for someone who is excited to help cultivate Logitech G's social voice across the esports and SIM communities. Our goal is to authentically share our passion for racing and esports through social story telling and engagement. We need a content curator and creator who knows esports and racing, and can write snappy copy and pitch an idea with a single gif. Someone already immersed in the social landscape and understands how each platform differs. Someone confident engaging with fans, gathering and analyzing data to optimize content, and who can generate and integrate content from multiple sources to create a cohesive and engaging message for our community.

The ideal candidate will understand how organic posts and paid work best together, and be able to look at social data and interpret why and what it means for the brand. Who thrives in the immediacy of social media and truly wants to be a part of online conversations, both personally and on behalf of the brand. Who is curious and always keen to figure out what’s trending today, brainstorming monthly content themes and building seasonal campaigns.

  • ​Oversee day-to-day management of our esports social channels in collaboration with Logitech G's social media manager. This will include creating content and working with influencer partners to post on their channels as well as our owned brand channels.
  • Work closely with our brand teams, esports partners, influencers and our digital social agency to develop creative content that increase fan engagement and grows social reach.
  • Monitor, listen and respond to fans.
  • Serve as a key partner to agencies and internal production partners, including sending assets, providing consolidated feedback, routing creative to internal team for approval, etc.
  • Support campaign coordination and information sharing with EMEA and AP marketing team.
  • Be able to pull analytics and performance reports.
  • Identify digital marketing trends, competitive research, best practices and key opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop and maintain relevant project management documents.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:

  • ​1-3 years of experience working in the field of consumer marketing, digital marketing, communications or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong interest and basic knowledge of digital and social marketing programs including: digital production, social media behavior, research and analytics.
  • General interest in esports and racing, with knowledge of the major competitions, games and teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Collaborative, proactive and solutions orientated.
  • Active participant in digital and social media channels.
  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions to create content for and responses to the community that are on message and on brand.
  • Passion for internet and gaming culture a big plus.
  • Entertainment or video game industry experience a plus.
