Rivet Games is a team of passionate and talented artists and developers based in Stirling, Scotland. Building on years of prior experience of developing the highest quality routes and models for Train Simulator and Train Sim World, the team have a passion for ensuring everything they do is accurate, built to the highest possible standards, and above all, is fun and enjoyable.

As a Quality Assurance (QA) tester you will be thoroughly testing games to locate and report issues across different hardware platforms; entering clear, concise feedback into the bug database.

You will ensure that the bug database is maintained and updated, documenting test results accurately.

You will collaborate productively with development teams to identify, report and recreate bugs.

This position is entirely remote, you will be working from home 10am-4pm on weekdays, with an hour’s break for lunch. You will be expected to join regular team meetings via video conferencing and communicate with the team via MS Teams.

A game development or related qualification is desirable but having prior experience in game development is also invaluable. The candidate should have a passion for game development, and great communication skills. They should be able to work well as part of a larger team, as well as be self-organising and reliable.

You will ideally have some prior experience of testing – which may include public beta testing or testing of community created mods/games. Some interest or knowledge of trains or railways is desirable.
