Animation Intern
The Insomniac Games Internship program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our animators who create our award-winning gameplay experiences. We are seeking a motivated intern who is interested in learning from and partnering with our content creators throughout our studio. Interns receive important animation assignments that contribute to their growth and future opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Craft a variety of cinematic animation shots while providing general support to the animation team.
Work on in-game characters, props, cinematics, and bug fixing.
Learn new techniques and tools that are required to bring our characters to life in our games.
Internship Qualifications:
Computer, Traditional, or Experimental Animation (Art, Illustration, or Graphic Design majors with animation experience are also encouraged to apply).
Internships are available to students who are US citizens or international students with an F-1 visa.
You are upbeat, self-motivated, creative, and responsible, have a passion for video games and animation and be willing to work hard.
Introductory 3D animation experience, drawing skills and previous experience with Maya is preferred.
Internship Details:
This is a paid, full-time internship: 5 days per week for approximately 40 hours a week.
We expect at least an 8-week commitment from our interns.
This role is based in Burbank, CA or remote from an approved US state.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
