As a passionate and talented Social Media Coordinator you will have the opportunity to do exactly this.

You will develop original content and suggest creative ways to engage and build our LA Valiant community, supporting and executing on our communication and community building strategy. Driving the day-to-day conversation around our brand to help grow our audience, deepen our fan engagement and drive fan monetization.

You'll work closely across departments including content, data and live events to ensure the effective execution of our cross platform strategy and ensure consistency in our communication, messaging and voice. You are the first line in building the relationship with fans and must represent our mission and values in everything we create. Leveraging your knowledge of the esports industry, the major players and personalities both inside and outside of our organization to drive conversation and generate fan engagement. Using data and creativity to build the largest, most engaged and inclusive community in esports.

  • Design and execute social media content to support overall social media and company initiatives and community building strategy. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Graphic creation
    • Photography
    • Video + editing
    • Interviews
    • Text
  • Analyze social media analytics, identify industry and social media trends and use data and a rigorous feedback based process to drive improvement and refine our execution
  • Interact daily with our fanbase and capture the social voice of Immortals / Valiant / MIBR across every major social platform
  • Understand and gather intelligence on the fan community and represent the voice of the fan to internal stakeholders across merchandise, design, content, live events, etc.
  • Take lead on emerging social media strategies for non-traditional platforms (Twitch, Reddit, Discord) and lead experimentation on new distribution outlets
  • Build strong relationships with our competitive teams to help drive content creation
  • Train players to increase their social media presence and engagement
  • Assist in the creation of social media ads and other marketing campaigns both for internal initiatives and external partnerships

Skills and Experience required

  • 1+ years professional experience in social media marketing
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Communicative. You understand what it means to be a professional and to have colleagues who rely on your prompt availability and responsiveness.
  • Experience and skilled at editing
  • A one-person rocketship: Nothing holds you back when you have a goal in mind. You are self-motivated and ready to solve any problem that gets in your way to get the job done.
  • Experimental: Youโ€™re not afraid to try new styles and fresh ideas to keep things evolving.
  • An esports expert. You understand the culture of esports, everything from competition to memes to who are the most influential people in the industry
