ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity to join the Trading Team in the supporting role of Junior Buyer. The key purpose of a Junior Buyer is to support and help deliver, maintain, and grow our digital games offer. Requirements

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Build relationships and manage a selection of Tier 2-4 publishers, including new release, campaign, stock management and day to day negotiations

  • Preparation of site merchandising actions (Daily changes, creating merchandising opportunities)

  • Become a subject matter expert on key internal processes / mechanics to aid the best synergies across the business

  • Provide support to the senior members of the trading team

  • Internal project ownership (i.e. Bundles)

  • Delivery of publisher requests (i.e. Reporting)

YOU HAVE

Skills:

  • Commercial acumen

  • Strong relationship skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to a high standard

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Manage time effectively by setting and achieving priorities and timescales.

  • Proactive approach to work

  • Ability to communicate at all levels

  • Good problem-solving skills and can take initiative to resolve issues

Experience:

  • eCommerce trading or merchandising

  • Experience of stakeholder management

  • Within a fast-paced retailer, industry or business

Nice to have:

  • An interest in the entertainment industry, ideally Video Games!

  • Previous Video Games industry experience (Ideal but not essential)
