GosuGamers is a global gaming community with a strong focus on competitive games. The site, which has existed since 2002, focuses on high quality esports content around major titles such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, and more. GosuGamers is a one-stop esports hub with coverage including match schedules, results, data, news, videos and more.

Now under new ownership we are looking to grow GosuGamers.net into a world-class esports tech platform. As the Senior Front-End Web Developer you will be responsible for building the front-end development team, and leading all front-end development. You will be working with senior management, project management, API developers, and the product team to deliver a complete rebuild of the website. This process will include building an appealing, responsive, and fast front-end that still delivers all the data our esports audience desires.

Technology Experience Required:

  • Node.js.
  • TypeScript.
  • GraphQL and ReST APIs.
  • Single-Page Application frameworks (preferably Vue.js).
  • Sass (SCSS).
  • Webpack configuration.

Other Requirements:

  • Team leadership ability.
  • The ability to work during European office hours (Daily meeting at 09:15CET).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • A home office, to work and join meetings from, without distractions.
  • Experience assisting with the recruitment of other developers is a bonus.
  • An interest in gaming and esports is a bonus.
