GEEIQ, founded in 2019, is one of gaming marketing’s most promising startups. We are a data platform and consultancy service, helping leading brands identify and execute on commercial opportunities in the gaming, esports, and content creation spaces.

Our data platform tracks more than 120,000 partners across games, including esports organisations and influencers, and enriches these profiles with key metrics from platforms like TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. The role:

GEEIQ is looking for someone that is conscientious, with a positive, ready-to-learn attitude to assist the management team, particularly the founders, with general business and office tasks.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced working environment and will have a natural inclination toward helping others, ensuring teams function smoothly and stay on task. Orderliness is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing physical & digital company mail and documents
  • Help manage and optimise operational systems, like internal company folders and tracking documents, making internal navigation simple
  • Help GEEIQ founders with general admin and office tasks
  • Help GEEIQ staff arrange meetings
  • Help coordinate onboarding for new starters
  • Carry out daily tasks, ensuring supplies are stocked & meeting rooms are ready for use
  • Assist in planning and executing company events

An interest in gaming, esports, or content creation is desirable but not necessary. An interest in data, in particular how data can inform business strategy, is also preferable.

Required skills and traits

  • Outstanding team-working skills; the ability to keep things running smoothly and keep a team focused on important tasks
  • Great organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • A hard-working nature
  • Willingness to learn is essential

Required qualifications and experience

  • Experience in a similar role is needed
