Job Description
We are looking for an experienced professional in the financial area, willing to develop his/her career as lead of the accounting team, to join Gameloft Sofia as Chief Accountant.
The Chief Accountant will have the opportunity to:
Leads and coordinates the accounting operations at Gameloft Sofia
Oversees compliance with the LGAAP – applicable standards are the national ones
Accounts for implementing global corporate policies and their compliance with local legislation
Manages accurately and timely any period closing activities and reporting
Responsible for payments in a timely and accurate manner
Manages external and internal audits in the respected field
Oversees tax reporting and tax audits
Responsible for the career development and engagement of the accounting team
Maintains close collaboration with purchasing departments and internal clients such as Administration, HR, Marketing etc.
Liaising between headquarters and local teams on financial matters
Responsible for leading and coordinating of the treasury activities of the studio
Involved in the annual budgeting process of the studio
Provides ad-hoc reports for the needs of global financial or local management team at Gameloft
Qualifications
Master degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 5 years on a similar position in an international environment
Deep knowledge of Bulgarian tax legislation and experience with International Accounting Standards
Excellent command of English
Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
Previous experience with Workday and Ajur will be considered as an advantage
Self-driven personality with strong leadership and outstanding communication skills
Analytical mindset and skills, attention to detail and figures
