Exploding Kittens is seeking an experienced Account Planning Manager to join our Sales Team. In this role you will create and manage new processes for managing sales and inventory forecasts for a variety of customer accounts. You will ensure that we are monitoring sales and profitability performance and inform our Production & Logistics Team of forward-looking inventory needs for our continuously expanding assortment of games. In addition, you will play a key role in monitoring and setting sales and profitability goals at the account level.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Perform account level sales and profitability forecasts
  • Partner with retailers and sales representatives to develop demand planning forecasting methodologies based on Exploding Kittens’ and overall category sales history; create a point of view on seasonality, promotional lift and new account or new item forecasting
  • Actively monitor retail inventory levels and predict future inventory needs; communicate findings to the Production & Logistics team to ensure healthy in-stock levels at retail locations and 3PL warehouses
  • Interface with other departments such as Marketing and Accounting & Finance on topics such as marketing effectiveness and financial forecasting

WHAT WE NEED:

  • Minimum 5 years working in account planning or demand planning for a consumer goods company, or large retailer
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, operations or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, and a problem-solving attitude
  • Expert at Microsoft Excel, and competency in other relevant software such as Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • High service orientation, hands-on mentality and attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
