We are seeking a dynamic Community and Fan Experience Manager to oversee all aspects of fan engagement and help us build and engage with our community of esports fans. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing a comprehensive fan engagement strategy that drives engagement and loyalty.

  • Organise online community activities such as contests, giveaways, remote watch parties, community votes, etc

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute community-focused campaigns that engage and grow our community

  • Support in raising awareness in and participation of our community for any launches and announcements.

  • Monitor and report on community feedback, trends, and insights to inform our strategy and tactic

  • Build relationships with key influencers, partners, and community members to strengthen our brand and reach

  • Support on the execution of Brand Marketing projects designed to achieve our strategic objectives, with a focus on League of Legends and Valorant, as well as our esports competitions for these two games.

  • Build our presence on the relevant gaming and esports community platforms on behalf of EXCEL such as on Discord and Reddit. Actively participate in non-endemic community platforms where this makes sense.

  • Monitor Discord channels for inappropriate content, including spam, harassment, and hate speech.

  • Support in a future loyalty & reward programme for our active community and customers.

  • Support the Events Manager on larger events and activations when needed.

  • Monitor and track targets of community-led activations.

Qualifications & Specifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Passion for esports and gaming

  • Experience with community building activities

  • Knowledge in running live Twitch streams is a plus

  • Commitment to working weekends & evenings as and when needed – the nature of this position requires weekend and evening work to meet the needs of the agreed community initiatives.

  • Right to live and work in the UK

  • Commutable to London on a hybrid working policy, to be based from the Shoreditch HQ at least 2 days of the working week.
