JOB SUMMARY:

In conjunction with Facilities Broadcast Engineer, Tech Operations, Production Coordinator, and Lead Producer, the Facility Logistics Engineer will be responsible for the overall engineering infrastructure documents and integration at the Allied Esports arena Las Vegas. The Facility Logistics Engineer will perform as the Engineer in Charge (EIC) and will support community events and client events to include, esports live streams, live broadcasts, original content and post-production activities.

SCOPE:

The Facility Logistics Engineer will work closely with the Facilities Broadcast Engineer, Assistant Facility Engineer as well as the Esports Arena and Allied Esports production teams to plan and implement productions for esports live streams, live broadcasts, original content and post-production. The Facility Logistics Engineer will also work closely with Tech Operations and clients to produce CAD production documents

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform as Engineer in Charge for community events and HyperX Esports Truck.
  • Responsible for performing regular maintenance on all broadcast equipment as well as preventative Maintenance. This includes performing regular software and hardware updates.
  • Maintain timely inventory audits.
  • Build and maintain CAD production documents and stage plots.
  • Coordinate timely integrations and new asset acquisitions
  • Manage department reports during and between events.
  • Perform on call support for engineering and equipment maintenance of Allied properties and assets.
  • Communicate issues to operations, tech ops, and production, and resolve issues as they arise
  • Enforce all Engineering policies and procedures.

KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS:

  • In depth understanding of broadcasting, production and programming systems, equipment and procedures
  • Must be proficient in Vector Works and other CAD software.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with the ability to provide Engineering and Operational plans
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and people skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and lead small teams within the confines of the production environment
  • Ability to professionally interact with co-workers in different departments
  • Ability to function well under pressure, i.e. during live broadcasts

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Comply with company policies and operating procedure manual
  • Maintain an awareness of changes in trends, techniques, and client needs, and communicate that information effectively in staff and department meetings
  • Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
  • Adhere to confidentiality rules and all other company policies, procedure and rules as presented by Esports Arena, Las Vegas
  • Perform other job duties as assigned and participate in special projects at management’s request

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-10 years' experience working with major Network, Events, and/or Cable remote television production and operations
  • Experience with production equipment maintenance and procedures.
  • Previous V1, A1, LD, or TD experience a plus
  • Experience with systems installation.
  • Experience with architectural drawings.
