Your future tasks:

Operational Responsibilities

  • Be the responsible referee to run our CS:GO pro tournaments.
  • Run and administrate online and offline tournaments.
  • Plan and execute tournament related topics without constant supervision.
  • Communicate tournament information and updates with internal stakeholders and departments.
  • Provide necessary information to teams and players.
  • Ensure that tournament environments are up to our standard.
  • Safeguard the competitive integrity of our tournaments.
  • Take care of our task management system and always keep everyone in the loop.
  • Strive to improve all player related tournament aspects of our events.
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to assure a flawless workflow.
  • Back-Office: Data Collection, Documentations, Team and Player Contact, Tournament Information Controlling

Management Responsibilities

  • Find, hire and maintain the department pool of freelancers around the world to work with you at events.

Job requirements

Must haves:

  • You have great experience with the game CS:GO and the handling of CS:GO tournaments, including some server knowledge.
  • You have several years of experience in online gaming administration on a professional or semi-professional level.
  • You have experience in running/adminining offline tournaments.
  • You are skilled in general IT topics
  • You know the CS:GO scene, notably tournaments, teams and players.
  • You have a good understanding of tournament systems, rankings and matchmaking processes.
  • You have a good understanding of the esports landscape and are ready to further explore it.
  • You set goals for yourself and follow through with them in time. Deadlines are your friends.
  • You can organize and manage a team of supporting referees.
  • You keep calm under pressure and stressful situations.
  • You know your way in office software like Google Sheets
  • You are open, dare to keep asking questions and challenge the norm on a daily basis.
  • You can collaborate across multiple departments even if things might take longer.
  • You handle unexpected complex challenges in a quick fashion.
  • You can’t wait to create amazing tournaments.
  • You are excellent in written and spoken English.
  • Bonus: You are excellent in written and spoken German or any other second language.
