The Epic Communications team advances the company's narrative and represents Epic products and the company vision to external and internal audiences globally. We create positive relationships and engagement strategies with a wide range of audiences, including media, investors, influencers, and policymakers.
What You’ll Do
Epic is looking for a passionate communications expert to work on our internal communications team. This person will oversee communications programs across Epic Games to inform and engage our global employees. You will partner with nearly every function within the company, especially our global People team and executive leadership on everything from producing company meetings to creating written and video communications.
In this role, you will
- Lead strategy and execution of company communications, including content for monthly Company Meetings and regional town halls.
- Create and manage an internal editorial calendar to organize the cadence of employee communications.
- Partner with HR teams to draft a wide range of timely written communications to employees.
- Work with senior leaders on internal communications programs for their organizations, helping leaders effectively engage with their teams.
- Produce a wide range of content to support employee communications, including talking points, email drafts, slides, video, and surveys.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience working directly on internal communications teams and programs.
- Experience working within a fast-paced technology, entertainment or similar organization.
- Someone who moves fast, is a terrific writer, is focused on delivering results, and has a track record of working well across a diverse group of internal partners.
- Someone who is user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do.
Remaining Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Needed
- A proactive problem solver, with strong instincts for when to escalate issues.
- Communication skills, written and verbal, are stellar.
