Role Overview

Create Audio is looking for an experienced Senior Audio Artist who can make an immediate contribution to all aspects of speech development for our UFC products. You have experience in all phases of audio design and production, with a proficiency in voice production/implementation in game audio tools. You will be asked to work within the Create Audio team and must have the ability to collaborate with all other aspects of game development (i.e., Art, Animation, Engineering, Design, Production, and Marketing) to push the quality bar for commentary and other speech elements in the game. You will have experience with sports video games, with the desire to create a world class audio experience. You will report to the Development Director and working creatively with the Audio Director and Producer using your speech design skills.

Responsibilities

  • For the final quality of what comes out of the speakers on a given title related to all things Speech (Main Commentary, Secondary Characters (Trainers, Stadium Announcer), and Cinematic Dialogue.

  • Work well with team partners and Create Audio team members at all levels.

  • Speech creative design and vision that's following the goals and vision of the title(s).

  • Collaborate with team Project Manager, Audio Director, and Producer, and review work of junior audio artists and contractors for your title(s).

  • Attend speech recording sessions, either in person in studio or remotely. Potential for U.S. Travel to attend live UFC events and commentary recording sessions.

  • Deliver speech assets on time and on budget as defined by Create Audio and the dev team.

  • Participate in onboarding other team members with training programmes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven years game/audio experience.

  • Have a broad experience using game development tools, technology and pipelines.

  • Is an expert with modern audio creation equipment, software and recording techniques, with a high level of proficiency in at least one DAW.

  • Solid knowledge of PC and console audio hardware.

  • Outstanding speech design.

  • Good creative and technical thinker.

  • Work well as part of a team.

  • Have skills in technical implementation of game audio.

  • Have artistic and creative sensibilities.

  • Knowledge of Mixed Martial Arts or other combat sports is desirable.
