JOB DESCRIPTION Network Operations Intern

Department: IT Infrastructure – Network Operations

Reports to: Senior Manager, Network Operations

Location: Hyderabad - Hybrid

About the Role We are seeking a motivated Network Operations Intern to support our Network Operations team in maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of enterprise network services. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to network monitoring, incident support, troubleshooting, reporting, and operational processes in a real-world environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support incident triage by gathering information, reviewing alerts, and documenting impact

• Help track and update tickets related to network incidents, service requests, and operational tasks

• Assist with basic troubleshooting of connectivity and performance issues under guidance from experienced engineers

• Support planned maintenance activities through pre-checks, post-checks, and validation tasks

• Update network documentation, topology diagrams, inventory records and operational reports/procedures

• Participate in team meetings, operational reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Shadow team members to learn network operations tools, workflows, and best practices.
