You will work on a wide variety of groundbreaking tools and systems to provide Localization to our products. EA has built a cutting-edge Localization powerhouse that covers the needs for both current and next generation platforms.

The Challenge Ahead

Join our international Localization team and help us to localize our wonderful games and services in an inclusive way. In your role as Inclusive Language Intern, you'll report to the Inclusive Language Lead and:

  • Coordinate regular updates of inclusive language guides and glossaries.

  • Update internal inclusive language toolkits.

  • Research and recruit inclusive language subject matter experts.

  • Track progression of recruitment stages.

  • Review and update processes using tools Miro and Asana.

  • Research non-binary and general inclusive language, using latest guidance and official resources where available.

  • Help defining prioritization of content updates and selecting new titles/content for inclusive language adaptation.

  • Build relationships and networks with involved parties and team members.

  • Organize and perform knowledge sharing and training sessions with our teams and vendors.

You'll be a great fit for this role, if you have the following experience:

  • You have an educational linguistic background or have experience working in the Localization industry.

  • You have a social justice background

  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and knowledge of another language.

  • Inclusion and diversity is your passion and you had previous jobs around Inclusion or Inclusive Language.

  • You have experience of implementing non binary language use.

  • The idea to help delivering an immersive and inclusive experience to our worldwide players excites you.
