About the Role

The Global Health Office (GHO) Health and Specialist & Site Advisor is a subject-matter expert. This expert serves as the primary Health & Safety contact for our Bogota site, reporting to our Regional H&S Manager.

In this onsite role, you will support the local implementation of EA health and safety policies and governance requirements in Colombia. You will also manage site-specific health and safety services, training, SG-SST requirements, and risk assessments for our Colombia teams. You will partner with teams to ensure compliance, support safety programs, and foster a culture of health within our Bogota studio.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver training programs, including annual evacuation exercises and role-specific evacuation team training, to ensure preparedness and compliance.

  • Maintain Colombia health and safety communications, collaborating with teams to ensure content meets EA standards and is communicated to employees and partners.

  • Collaborate across teams, including HR, Legal, Workplace/Facilities, IT, and Physical Security, to integrate governance and risk management into local site operations.

  • Anticipate and adapt health and safety programs to changes in the internal and external environment, such as regulatory updates or health risks.

  • Support SG-SST execution and documentation, including audit readiness, compliance records, workplace inspections, psychosocial risk management, emergency preparedness, ARL coordination, COPASST, and continuous improvement.

  • Present safety Indicators and compliance updates to local and regional partners.

  • Manage health and safety services for the Bogotá studio, ensuring a system for managing safety-related risks.

  • Deliver local health & safety programs with operational support and oversight.

  • Maintain safety-related documentation, review for updates, and coordinate the distribution of information to relevant local teams.

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for site-specific safety meetings and risk assessments, partnering with local partners to resolve internal and external concerns.


Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of experience in Health & Safety, SG-SST, organizational governance, or a related field.

  • Experience managing health and safety in a corporate office or studio environment.

  • Knowledge of Colombian SG-SST requirements, including audits, inspections, risk assessments, emergency preparedness, ARL coordination, and COPASST.

  • Experience delivering training and guidance to diverse partners, including emergency response or safety protocols.

  • Project management and documentation skills, with the ability to organize records, action plans, and tracking results.

  • Valid Colombian SST License and 50-hour SG-SST certification required.

  • Advanced English proficiency required to communicate with team members.
