EA Create Audio is an award-winning team creating audio assets for titles within EA STUDIOS. Create Audio unites creative talents and technical expertise to create industry-leading audio through partnership, expertise, innovation and uncompromising quality. There are many exciting projects underway and we produce progressive audio content for in-game products from multiple studio locations.
The Create Audio team has a full-time Development Manager (DM) opportunity. There are many exciting projects underway in our studios and we produce progressive audio assets for in-game products from multiple studio locations.
Role and Responsibilities
The role of DM is dynamic and multi-faceted, requiring strong communication skills, great customer service, a solid ability to production manage and prioritize responsibilities and will need to excel while working with many internal clients. The DM will work in close collaboration with the other DM/Development Directors and Create Audio Management, in addition to supporting other Create Audio Department team members and all our clientele. The DM will oversee project managing, help manage scope, budget and resourcing for individual projects in addition to people management for some members of their team.
Required Experience
- 3+ years Project Management or Project Coordination experience
- Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization, especially in a distributed team from different time zones.
- Ability to work with Audio Artists and professionals and an understanding of the creative process and its impact on our needs.
- Excel (can perform complex functions) - advanced or expert level
- Experience with people management desired
- Positive team-based attitude
