App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Audit and develop internal frameworks, processes and best practices and lead the ASO efforts across the company, for new and existing titles
  • Test and report on hypotheses to improve CVR and organic installs
  • Support Merchandising team on hitting organic growth goals
  • Coordinate with studio liaisons on creative assets
  • Work with Product Management team to align and support limited market testing, soft launches, and general releases
  • Set frameworks for measuring and reporting on ASO campaigns performance, and the impact on the user acquisition funnel and performance
  • Work in close collaboration with the Product, User Acquisition, Analytics teams to tie ASO efforts to quantifiable results like retention, LTV, ROAS
  • Promote ASO and be an advocate for resources needed
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research, staying up to date on the competitive landscape

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing campaigns in search platforms
  • You understand the importance of striking the balance between efficiency and scale
  • Track record for creating and improving app store placement
  • Previously planned and implemented App Store Optimization strategies for mobile games of different genres, achieving app user base growth
  • Experience with ASO, including knowledge of app store algorithms, optimization methods and effective strategies for improving app stores performance and growing app installs.
  • Experience with app store optimization and analytics tools and software (AppAnnie, SensorTower, StoreMaven, etc.)
  • You have built relationships and collaborated with other teams in remote locations, and with vendors
  • You understand the use and value of upper funnel and down funnel metrics
  • You know how to create A/B tests and monitor to statistical significance
  • Experience with Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with coding languages like SQL, Python, HTML
