Development Creative Services (DCS) | EA SPORTS


As part of Development Creative Services (DCS), you'll contribute to the creative execution that brings EA SPORTS' most iconic franchises to life. We work as an integrated, internal production partner, delivering high-quality 3D character animation content at scale for global teams behind EA SPORTS.

As an Animator, you will create high-quality, gameplay-driven character animation and take ownership of assigned work from initial creation through final delivery. You'll work with animation leads and development partners to deliver believable, responsive character motion.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Create character animation using motion-capture and keyframe techniques
  • Refine motion-capture data to improve weight, timing, posing, and performance
  • Take ownership of assigned animation tasks and incorporate creative feedback to meet the expected quality bar
  • Collaborate with partner teams and report to the Animation Lead/Director to ensure work meets artistic, gameplay, and technical requirements
  • Maintain animation assets and follow established production workflows and schedules


Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in 3D game animation, or an equivalent demonstrated skill level in character animation
  • Experience with Autodesk MotionBuilder or Autodesk Maya for 3D character animation.
  • Strong understanding of animation fundamentals and character motion
  • 2 or more years of experience working with motion-capture data
  • Familiarity with game engines and animation implementation
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
