As the Marketing Intern you will be helping our Marketing team and reporting to our Marketing Lead.

In this paid, 9-month internship, your role will be:

  • Supporting in brand and communication activities
  • Supporting our community and creating content for our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Supporting in strategy refinement and user acquisition

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Help out on strategic campaigns, both organic and PPC
  • Help out in marketing research, trends, methods and new things to keep an eye on
  • Collaborate with the team to create content and develop community management strategies
  • Build and maintain daily social and editorial calendars
  • Create and develop copy for social media, website, newsletters and other marketing materials
  • Track important marketing data points such as channel growth, social media performance, and report findings to the team
  • Help out with whatever else is necessary!

The following technical skills are desirable for this role:

  • Great communication skills and written English - mandatory!
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills and collaborative work
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends and platforms
  • Passion for working in gaming and good knowledge of the gaming community
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google equivalent of tools and other new online tools to propel your work
  • HTML knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge on Marketing metrics and concepts

Eligibility Requirements

All eligible candidates for this internship MUST:

  • Be duly registered with the Employment Center (IEFP)
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in marketing or in a related field of study - we won't be able to accept you without this! Degrees with one marketing class aren't enough.
  • If your degree is not from a Portuguese institution, you must have it converted into Portuguese academic standards. We can assist you with this process, or you can do it yourself online.
  • Be under 35 years old at the beginning of the internship
  • Have NOT had any connection (i.e. employment, service provision or internship contract of any kind) with Doppio or a related entity in the last 12 months; AND
  • Have NOT held any other internship financed by IEFP in the past; or if you have, it was more than 12 months ago, AND you've either obtained an additional qualification level or a qualification in a different area since then

Additionally, all eligible foreign (i.e. non-Portuguese citizen) candidates MUST have a residency permit in Portugal, or proof of submitting a request for one in SEF ("Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras," or "Foreign Borders Service"). For citizens of an EEA country, this requirement may be satisfied by a Registration Certificate for EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens.

Finally, all eligible candidates must hold a valid passport or citizen card.

Location

This role is for our Lisbon office.

Note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our Lisbon office is currently closed. This role may therefore initially require remote work, depending on public health conditions in Portugal at the time you start.
