Video Script Editor (UK, FT, Intermediate)
Dexerto is looking for an experienced UK-based esports journalist to commission and edit video scripts.
Whilst you don’t need to have edited scripts for video to be considered for this role, it is essential that you have extensive experience of writing and editing esports content in a professional capacity. You also need a good working knowledge of different esports, including Call of Duty, CSGO, League of Legends and more.
Working closely with Dexerto’s head of video, you will be leading the ideation, commissioning and editing of scripts before they go into production. This can include anything from short opinion pieces to tournament highlights and longer-form documentaries. You would also be expected to watch the final product to ensure that it meets our editorial standards.
The ideal candidate will understand how to tell a story, have excellent attention to detail, communication skills and time management. Experience of publishing on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram would be preferable.

- Own computing equipment
- Able to work full-time hours (40) without other education or job commitments
