THE OPPORTUNITY
Daybreak and Darkpaw Games are looking for talented Associate Environment Artists to help build the ever-growing world of EverQuest and bring more content to the fans. If you have a knack for architecture, a flair for interior design, and a passion for making high-fantasy worlds come alive then come help us continue the legacy of EverQuest! This position reports to the Lead Artist.
The position responsibilities will include:
Collaboration with the Live Development team in various tasks related to the support of Darkpaw Studios and the production of EverQuest
Use of traditional art skills to produce fantasy-based environments and in-game assets
Production of environments and environment assets from conceptualization to fully realized completion
Ensure deliverables meet objectives, are of high quality, and are completed within required time frames
Translation of text documents into playable environments
What craft expertise you'll have:
Enthusiasm and performance-driven attitude
Self-starter with an inherent sense of urgency
Demonstrated proficiency using 3DS Max (modelling, UVs)
Photoshop experience
Strong communication and organization skills
