Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior UI Artist to join our studio in Boston to work on Project Orion, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise. The Expert UI Artist’s mission will be to partner with the Art Director and the UX team to create immersive, intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Daily responsibilities:
Works with the Art Director and Lead UI/UX Artist to define and document the vision for the Game’s UI.
Creates and implements highly polished 2D and 3D UI assets.
Works with UX Designers to deliver an intuitive user experience.
Create workflows and best practices for the UI team.
Work closely with technical artists to develop new or improved techniques.
Write and prepare briefs for work with outsource vendors, review work as necessary.
Work with directors and Production to estimate and plan work.
Mentor other UI artists and help build an environment of creativity, trust, and excellence.
Qualifications
Ability to work independently to identify and own work, deliver results.
At least 6 years of experience in UI creation and implementation in gaming industry.
Understands the prototyping and wireframing process, core principles of good UX.
Solid portfolio demonstrating expertise.
Proficiency in Graphic Design, Illustration, Motion Graphics.
Expertise with Adobe software.
Proficiency in typography, color theory, and layout.
Understanding of brand representation.
Strong understanding of the UI flow of interactive media, particularly in the context of games.
Understanding user–centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Able to deliver and receive feedback in a productive and accountable manner.
Nice to have

Experience producing open-type fonts, logo marks or logotypes.
Experience implementing game UI using Unreal Engine or Unity.
Action Script/HTML 5 or general scripting experience.
General 3D modeling experience.
