This role is to be based in Japan, Australia, or remotely within Asia-Pacific Region.

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

You will be responsible for launching and operating a Japanese Esports site(s) with your team members. You will start as a content writer, but in the future, you will manage the site(s) as a site manager. This role requires content with high quality, collecting/analyzing data, and making strategies to achieve a monthly and yearly target. You will mainly work with a Product Specialist and other site managers across the world.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

Taking full responsibility for all language content produced on the site; be news articles and other contents articles
Ensuring content tasks and requests received are completed in a professional and timely manner and to a high-quality standard
Planning and managing new content, online campaigns, and promotions for special events relevant to the Japanese market
Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to your team
Ensuring having a good professional relationship with business partners
Working together, and regularly communicating with, fellow Global/JP team members and other teams to ensure all stakeholders are working together to achieve common goals for each website
Engaging in social media activities and presence in the Japanese market
Following market trends for the Japanese market so that learnings can be applied
according to the needs and interests of our users
Proactively identifying website issues and/or potential improvements and raising these with relevant stakeholders
Other JP site-related duties as required

TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:

Experience in e-game industry is highly desirable
Strong interest in Esports and foreign leagues (LOL player is regarded)
Minimum of two-years experience in operating a site
Minimum of three-years professional experience in writing
Playing experience in LOL, VALORANT, and other Esports games
Being humble, proactive, and assertive
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
To be a highly-motivated, solution-driven individual with the ability to work in an efficient, mature, and professional manner
Great time-management skills and the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong creative skills and the initiative and drive to brainstorm and implement fresh ideas to improve existing content and create new engaging, user-centric content
To be a native Japanese speaker and have an excellent command of English
