We make a lot of games in-house, and we're looking for an awesome game developer with experience in Unity and netcode to join us. We're a highly collaborative, passionate team looking to move fast and make a big impact. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
💪 About the Role
- You'll report to our Director of Game Development, and collaborate closely with our other game developers and game artists.
- You'll build multiplayer games from the ground up, working in Unity/C#.
- You'll help to set the standard for exemplary software architecture, making sure we write beautiful code.
- You'll help ensure our networking code is up to snuff, so our multiplayer always works flawlessly.
- You'll do R&D for experimental new features that explore what's possible with videochat inside games (think: audio/video filters, video capture/sharing, smile detection, speech detection, and more!)
- We love new ideas, so bring them!
📐 Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in software development
- Have shipped one or more realtime multiplayer games with a significant player base
- A good grasp of software architecture, particularly in game development (i.e. we will grill you on design patterns 😅)
- Expertise in networking for multiplayer games, what's possible and what's optimal (i.e. you know what predict/rollback is 🤯)

🌎 Location
- In normal times, we have an office in downtown Toronto. In these slightly less-than-normal times, we're an entirely remote company. We can help you to outfit your home office with all the gear and tools you need. We expect to return to the office when it's safe, so the ability to commute to downtown Toronto is something we require.
