We are looking for a passionate Lead UI Artist to join our shop and customization team, on Diablo IV. The ideal candidate has passion for and experience with creating high quality user interfaces and immersive, exciting gameplay experiences.
Location flexible:
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA.
What you bring to the table:
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Manage a team of UI Artists on Diablo IV’s customization and shop team
Provide regular feedback on UI Art to achieve a cohesive experience
Work with UI leads, PMs and directors to determine requirements for new and existing features
Manage documentation for UI Art features
Continually evolve the store interface based on feedback from development team and players
Be a gatekeeper for quality and efficiency
Create opportunities for UI Artists to expand their skillset and knowledge and developing paths for growth
Review workflows and proactively identify bottlenecks
Collaborate with external partners to ensure delivery and consistency
Minimum requirements
Experience
8 + years of experience as a UI Artist or Visual Artist, with one shipped title having owned UI related feature
Knowledge & Skills
Deep understanding of hierarchy, layout, color, typography, iconography, and usability design principles.
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.

Self-motivated, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to quickly switch context.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $97,200.00 - $179,900.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
