We are working on Diablo IV and need a great Associate Quest Producer to join our team of passionate, talented developers. Our producers bring a critical element to the development process by coordinating with individuals of all disciplines, fostering effective and open communication across the teams, and directing features from inception to launch and beyond.

The Role

Working closely with designers and producers, you’ll support the Quest Design team for Diablo IV. You have prior experience in game development and some general experience of how each discipline operates and interacts. Self-direction and follow-up skills are necessary, as is the ability to anticipate production issues and find effective solutions. Excellent communication and project management experience are highly valued.

  • Motivate and provide support to the Quest Design team, always contributing to a positive work environment

  • Guide the completion of quest content and facilitate communication, organization, and process improvement across all departments

  • Manage the day to day work of the team and track and report progress to multiple stakeholders

  • Effectively communicate with developers of all disciplines

  • Identify roadblocks, project risks and be involved in finding solutions

  • Collaborate with team leadership and other producers to keep teams and recordings moving forward with a shared vision

  • Help make informed decisions in conjunction with team leads on work methods, development pipelines, priorities, and available people

  • Facilitate team and department meetings to reach decisions effectively

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in a game production or project management role

  • Game production experience with a design team

  • Familiar with creative game development processes and pipelines

  • Able to work with team leads and producers to align priorities

  • Experience tracking a complex project and providing support to clear blocking issues

  • Strong project and people management skills

  • The ability to remove ambiguities in both communication and planning by refining them with more detail

  • Passion for video games

  • Fun to work with

Pluses:

  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence

  • Passion for game development

  • Experience with triple A games development

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $24.04 - $44.47 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
