In this role you will :

  • Ownership of the strategy and all activities related to quality assurance across the entire company;
  • Setting the direction of QA efforts, working with each project to establish a plan that will ensure adequate coverage of projects while respecting budgets;
  • Drive innovation in QA processes and methodologies, research trends in quality assurance to keep our processes cutting edge;
  • Maintain and improve product inspection standards at all stages of development and throughout live operations;
  • Create documentation for QA tools, standards and processes;
  • Establish trackable quality metrics across all projects and set up a way to track them over time;
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional activities;
  • Hiring process for the QA team;
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Team Leads / direct reports.

What we’re looking for :

  • 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance;
  • 3-5 years of experience working on live projects;
  • 5 years of experience in QA strategy and planning;
  • Excellent knowledge of quality assurance best practices, software and tools;
  • Experience with mobile, PC and console game testing;
  • Extensive knowledge of standard testing tools (JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, etc);
  • Passion for making quality games;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Leadership;
  • Planning and organization;
  • Good understanding of KPIs;
  • Problem-solving;
  • Responsiveness to external and internal clients;
  • Strategic experience in Quality Assurance;
  • Ability to lead a department of 70+ people;
  • Team builder;
  • In-depth knowledge of QA within the video games industry.
